When PVC beats paper for business cards

Why a wallet card should survive more than a week.

Printed PVC business cards on a light surface

Most offices still default to 350gsm paper. That is fine for a conference bag you will never open again. It is not fine for a sales team that lives out of a wallet, or a site supervisor whose card gets swiped, dropped and stuffed in a high-vis pocket.

What PVC actually changes

PVC business cards print on the same CR80 stock we use for ID and membership work. They take colour cleanly, take a magstripe or NFC if you need it later, and they do not dog-ear after week two.

  • CR80 size — fits every wallet and badge reel
  • Optional HiCo / LoCo stripe or NFC
  • Matte or gloss laminate
  • Same 2–4 day production window as ID stock
If the card has to work after a year in a pocket, specify PVC. Paper is a leave-behind, not a tool.

Artwork that survives press

If you already have artwork, send a PDF with 3 mm bleed. We check crop and colour, send a digital proof, then print from Wantirna South in the usual 2–4 production days.
