Artwork size guide
Magnetic stripe card — CR80 / credit-card size
Finished size: 86 × 54 mm
-
Bleed area (90 × 58 mm)
This is the full artwork size, with 2 mm bleed on all sides. Make sure any background colours or images extend to this area to avoid white edges.
-
Finished size (86 × 54 mm)
This is the final cut size of your card. Your card will be trimmed to this size.
-
Safe area (80 × 48 mm)
Keep all important text, logos and graphics within this area to avoid being trimmed off. Keep a 3 mm margin from the edge (all sides).
Important notes
- Set your artwork size to 90 × 58 mm (including bleed).
- Keep all important text and logos within the safe area (80 × 48 mm).
- We recommend exporting your file as PDF (preferred), PNG or JPG at 300 DPI, CMYK colour mode.
- Ensure fonts are outlined or embedded.
- Make sure your artwork is high resolution and print ready.
- The finished card size is 86 × 54 mm.
- The magnetic stripe sits across the back, 5.5 mm from the top edge and 12.7 mm deep. Keep artwork, text and barcodes out of that band.
- Cards are die-cut with rounded corners, so keep borders clear of the trim line.
- Printing both sides? Combine both sides into a single PDF file.
