Why the teal on screen is not the teal on PVC
Screens glow. Plastic does not. Proof accordingly.
Your monitor is backlit. A PVC card is not. That is why a perfect teal in Figma can print dull, or too green, once it hits laminate.
What to send
- CMYK PDF, not a PNG from the website
- Pantone if the brand colour is non-negotiable
- A note if the card is matte — matte dulls saturation
We will still send a digital proof. Treat it as crop and layout, not a colour contract, unless we have a drawdown.
